Rising up levels

First off, I am enjoying the game. Two small things, and I think this is where they would go: I thought the rules said you rise up a rank every six levels, so if I am at Rank 7, why am I still a recruit?
Also, a general bug: Often the commands take a while to run, and sometimes when they do, I get kicked back to the home page and don't know how the operation came out.
Thanks, Agent "Cliff Stone"

Hi Agent Stone,
If you are at level 7 you should be at the Flat Top Rank. I'll get the minions working on fixing that - not sure why that is happening. When you reached level 7 did you get a new tab for "Flat Top" rank in your Espionage and Field Assignment modules? There should be new content there for you to enjoy.
We are working at optimizing the game to speed up the cycle....please bear with us while we are still in beta. Thanks for playing and please let us know about any more bugs you find - or any suggestions for improvement.

Yes, the tab did unlock and I have been using it and doing the Flat Top missions--it's the box on the front page that says "Recruit". Maybe it's because I went back to do some Recruit level missions to finish off the collections there? At one point it did list my rank as FlatTop (I trust Pruneface isn't next :-))I just wanted to make sure I hadn't been demoted :-)
I've seen a few typographical errors so far, but nothing too major, but as a meticulous agent, I shall endeavor to help you make everything ship-shape.
Keep up the good work.
Cordially,
Agent Stone
